so my mate has given me his laptop to fix.. i formatted it with XP pro sp2, but i dont have his drivers disk. so i cant sort his sound/gfx/USB's and all that other stuff.

are there any GOOD drivers archives for laptops?. the ones iv managed to find on google dont have drivers for this particular laptop which is a logiQ m66sru, and i can barely find any information on this at all.

cheers

Those keywords got me only 7 results in Google... You need better keywords, I'm sure those drivers are googleable. ;)

You go to the laptop makers website (compaq, dell, etc) and search the model for drivers. On desktops you usually go to the motherboard maker's website.

You can use cpu-z to find out your hardware.

I find drivers for odd makes of laptops most days of my life.....

Yours are listed above. You forgot to mention it's brand name: CLEVO you numbskull.

Use the M66xSRU option in the drop down box, then all for a complete list of drivers.

CPU-z f-t-f'in-w. That app has saved me more than a few times!

And fyi, you should install drivers in this order:

MoBo
Chipset
Network
Video
Sound

if you are still having problems go to the notebookreview.com forum, and post in the specific laptop brand forum that you have, i am sure the guys there will be able to offer some sort of help.
