Small detail that I didn't know about. But Aria was usualy like that. I remeber at one Ferry Corsten's even it was too jammed packed.
Was the music any good at least? |

Creator was my fave Aria Resident...
Most memorable night was Sven Vath's marathon set, he was playing so dark, chicks were crying and , he was KNACKERED! I left terrified. |

yup, missing some solid techno bookings for sure like Umek with Valentino on the same night back in 2003, Technasia, the Halloween night triple headliners, Richie and Sven when they puked up their champagne....
I'd love to see a list compiled for the Sona bookings (v1.0) :D |

Music was good if you could tolerate being inside the main room. Trust me when I say it wasnt like any other night! |

Even tho I'm a big prog fan now, the track list they played is sooooooooooo good. I'm jealous that I was way too young to attend those parties :(. I would kill to see Tiesto/Armin/Ferry 8-9 years ago. Their sets were unbelievable. |

First time I saw Tiesto he was Paul Oakenfold's 'guest dj' at the 514 Productions party in the Molsen Center called Oasis, in 2000 I think. good times!
And the last time I saw Tiesto was the first time he played Aria and the place was disgustingly paaaaacked, sounds like that Ferry night.
I went with a few people that night who were so put off by it that they vowed never to go back to the club again (and they didn't). |

Thanks a million Nacht, just by reading the reviews and the track lists I'm getting goosebumps and realizing how downhill Trance has gotten. Sadly it is what it is. |

if there's one thing that Aria can do ASAP, is fix the air temprature problem, either by upgrading the cooling system or opening some doors to let air flow. At one point I couldn't take it no more, I just left and slept in the car for a good 2h. So I missed the end of Tiesto and beginning of armin.
About the sound cutting, 3 words: crazy tiesto fan (or bitch). This girl jumps over the speakers on the left side and storms the booth and we were like wtf were she came from?!!? Then security takes her outside of the booth. She goes around to the right side, try jumping to come inside the booth, but in doing so trips and unplugs wires and ... sound cuts
She doesn't quit! I come in the booth and she tries to come right behind me, I see her and say: "stay the out" pushing her ouside she had this surprised face like saying "what did I do?" hehehehe
Tiesto was a little pissed but took it like a pro, he said jokingly "the sound system isn't tiesto proof" hahaha
to the girl: if you read this, go easy on the candy next time |
