Very interesting track Nick, I really enjoy listen to it. This slow energy buildup was great. Awesome transition with very well defined sound layout concept. Atmosphere is great with beautiful sound selection.
Overall is a +1 for me. The only think I would like to see improve is this pad at 5:05, 5:16 and on, which is to flat and to dry for me. You may also think about shorten you track a bit, maybe at 9:15 would be a good place.

Thanks a lot for the input, I was kind of thinking the same about the pad. Might see if some reverb can do the trick, otherwise I might have to change it to another pad all together.

Percussion only up to the 2 minute mark is a bit too long, the track is a bit too long, its a solid track though, intregued by the few more bells and whistles to be added

Nice track this. I'm lately comming round more to this laid back less hectic style. Well mixed and thoughtful track. Like it's slow evolution.

Yeah, I was actually thinking that myself... Just gotta get around to fixing it, I'm sure a minute should be adequate, and the percs at the end aren't supposed the be there, not sure what happened.

check out the kick when it starts, then it gradually gets worse; at one point even the clap overtook its presence.
other than that, i enjoyed it.

That White Noise throughout the first minute is REALLY annoying. :p
The percussion is quite nice for the first while, but it gets very repetitive and things take too long to come around. Don't get me wrong, I love slowly evolving tracks, but this seems a bit too extreme for my tastes.
I like when the bass starts to vary and things begin to come together.
