| Depends on the music genre. As for trance, nobody beats Circus but for house, dunno nothing interesting I find. |

Hey Durty,
I know you didn't mean to bash and where you took the comments from (Rave.ca)... all good.
Just keep in mind that this comment was from an early experience years ago. A lot of negative things going around are not based on recent nights.
Circus has come a very long way since. I was a resident when it open (I think 5 years ago?) and went back last year. It changed a lot.
I think right now, we offer the best and most underground minimal-techno you can find in Montreal clubs. And I heard only good things about the trance nights.
I can really only comment on my night since it's the only time I can go to circus (I fly in and out of town the same week-end), but I can say that the crowd, the vibe, the music, is just fantastic and the best overall night since I am a DJ. I can even compare it sometimes to old Sona days.
All the reviews are really positive (aside maybe the smoke) and none of my friends reported anything bad happen. It just keeps getting better and better, and all of the people I know that had issues in the past feels great about the place now.

| Come out to Circus tonight, FLEX monthly night presents Sneaky 4 with international DJ OXIA. One of the great nights Circus has to offer. FLEX, BLACK OUT, TRANCEFORMERS...all extrely good afterhour nights in my opinion. A few other nights on Saturday that you would like. My man Tone Depth can play some serious proggy beats once a month! |

In any club , and the afterhours scene is no exception... you will have both the right and wrong people there.
If you want to be hyper-critical you can bash any club in the world and make it sound like . However at the end of the day what does that really achieve?
None of the clubs are perfect , however your experience at a club is what you make it. If you have a negative attitude going in you will still have one on the way out.
Circus is an EXCELLENT club and yes I totally agree it has issues from time to time... but that simply is the nature of the beast.
What is important is that changes have happened recently and the right people are working hard to make the club the best in the city.
If you give it a chance I think you will understand that Circus is one of the best afterhours in the world... |

| I agree with the fact circus gets better and better. The good crowed is the there, the vibe is fantastic. Been there many many times and all went well. Except at Leon bolier, move the fan a bit because it was facing the wall, then aome fat comes to me, moves it back thorwards the wall and says to me " if you touch it again I'll brake your neck". Not very cool... |

Pas du tout.
Il y a certaines de mes soirees, que c'etait tres comparable en terme de vibe. Il y a plusieurs personnes qui peuvent le confirmer. |
