I think we all know how amazing trance sounds, but do we know how powerful it can actually change your life around, in a good way hopefully!?
I've been listening to trance for almost 9 years now, and some of the tracks that were released in my time were just absolute uplifters and saved me in my life's struggles when times were hard.
To begin with:
Mario Lopez - Sound of Nature (Plug 'n' Play Remix)
Accadia - Into The Dawn (Accadia's Ambient Remix & James Holden)
Gouryella - Gouryella
Nalin & Kane - Beachball (Gabriel & Dresden's South Beach Vacation Remix)
29 Palms - Touch The Sky (Extended Remix)
Please feel free to share and add onto this list as I'd love to hear about the songs that really changed your life in a positive way.

Do you listen to any other electronic genres?
I like trance and all, but I don't know if I could ever call it 'life changing'. Good music is good music, regardless of genre (or 'scene' as so much of it appears to be now).

Of course it can be life changing but it's not genre specific. Any music can affect someones life really.

probably adagio for strings, I used to listen to classical stuff before but this track made me very curious about this kind of music-> google around/kazaa and found tranceaddict.

I hope you're talking about William Orbit (or at the VERY least, Ferry's remix of Adagio for Strings).
Not Tiesto, right? RIGHT??
Stanza
For me it was 'Gamemaster' by Lost Tribe way back in '97.
I guess it was life changing in a sense cos that was the track that got me into trance :)

haha.
the breakdown and buildup of 'his' remix is pretty good but when the main part comes in, its very flat and monotonous...bordering lifeless.

They don't make them like this anymore!
Trance definitely changed my life. I was 12/13 when I got into it, and it pretty much altered my way of thinking.
I have very fond memories of sitting in my room at night just thinking about stuff with trance on in my headphones, it was fantastic escapism. Akin to reading a good book, it let my mind walk around in it's world.
I need to do that more.
Gotta say trance sucks on a night out. For me it's always been a very personal kind of music. I don't wanna share it with wankers pilled up in a club.

It's not bad, but I prefer Ferry's remix.

This is easily one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever made
