IMO very similar to some Cappella and Culture Beat tracks, especailly because of the vocals. Indeed BPM, but also in general baseline, chord changes and melody are alike.

I think some tracks actually can be considered closer to trance nowadays than e.g. 10 years ago. At least that's a feeling I got a couple out time lately. Think also many will disagree.

The label "goa trance" is to easier catagorize the different types of trance music. The same goes for the labels "progressive trance, hard trance, melodic trance" etc.

In other words you are totally wrong when saying "goa trance is not trance". Which is quite funny since it's called "goa trance" and not "goa".

I agree, even apart of goa trance many different styles of trance can be considered as 'real trance'.
For example I don't think any of these could be considered not to be:

God I hate to be a self promoting , but I think my latest mix will give you a great example of what real trance is.

Rising High Collective - Fever Called Love (Resistance D Remix)

Early 90's classic. Trance and techno were blurring the lines at the time.
