It was alot of fun!
I thought Cosmic Gate's track selection was alot better than last time. I was happy they played all their remix of Kyau and Albert's song (I love you) and the one Kyau and Albert remixed for them (Flatline). And I am pretty sure they dropped Irufushi, which was alot of fun.
What was the name of the DJ before them? I thought he rocked it pretty good haha.
Lol at the dudes getting in front of cosmic gate on the stage attention whoring. That was lame, I wish Bossi or Nic would have pushed em off the stage! :haha: |

They didn't announce a benjaming dubbose playing though (I got there at 11, can't say what happened before)
Thats why I was asking. They announced another DJ but I couldn't hear his name completely but it didn't sound anything like that.
Maybe he uses a different DJ alias? Whoever he was, he dropped some great tracks.

It was Noel Sanger
I played from 1045 to 1115ish. was supposed to play from 11 to midnight and as soon as i walked in the club they told me to get bon that Noel was getting on sooner than planned. |

It's all good bro. 30 min djing isn't much of a set. More or less just seeing how some choons sound on a big system lol. So you really didn't miss much from me.
Hopefully next time it will go as planned. |

Well it definitely blew Mongolian penis juices that Cory only played for 24 minutes. Between the nice buzz I had going at the flying saucer and the thoughts about that 43 year old MILF I met there, and Cory's set, I was getting into it pretty well. Then the buzzard stops and Noel gets on. That killed it but Noel actually blew the roof off that place.
Cosmic Gate, on the other hand, played one hell of a show. Their opening track was like none other. They fckn rocked the out of Richs. This was well worth my time and money.
The best part about all of it was witnessing Cory's inability to speak and barely move towards the end of the night. The dood sure as fcuk got wasted. :o I stopped drinking right after I realized my face was getting numb. |

I really liked the variety of music and the steady energy Noel was dropping, tbh I enjoyed his set more than Cosmic Gate. Never had heard of him before today, I just bought around $40 of music from his dissident recordings.
Although Cosmic Gate did spin a great set, the GIANT buildups / dead periods in their songs towards the end started to really get to me (ESPECIALLY during the remix of Home, lol) It was fun for most of the set, but I just can't take that much when it comes to buildup and breakdown. And when they dropped Rain, WHY OH WHY didn't they play their own remix? The original is awful imo, the remix is ok but its not hard to blow the original away. Those were really my only complaints of their set, and a few lackluster transitions towards the beginning (Although I did see them talking to some people on the stage and pointing towards the equip, maybe they had issues with it?).
For $15, that show was a complete steal! Definitley one of my favorite shows this year (minus the drunk guy who kept punching me / jumping into people, lol)

| just as good, if not better than last time. i will never miss a cosmic gate show after seeing them the last two times they were here. amazing show. great to see matt, carlos, and cory again. i had an awesome time. |

I did to. I couldn't speak at all i remember trying to get a water and i couldn't say water. Luckly Howie relized i needed water and just handed me the bottle laughing.
I was just at thye point where i play my best.
Carlos that girl was only hot in the face. |
