well i know we can never be close friends while either one of us is dating or for at least the next few years but somewhere down the road it would be cool.

I dont know maybe im being ed, but in my head it makes sense and it would be against my character just to let one of my best friends slip away without somewhat of a fight. we always agreed we were firends first and gf/bf second, I would have put a ring on that finger if I could have juggled everything in my life at once. But i couldnt and something had to go and my aspirations and goals unfortunately held a more major role in my life. and still do. I don't regret my decision. theres more to it then that as well

btw jamie, I posted personal info on the forums. You can use that to add to your arsenal against me.

The more amicably the relationship ended = the more disrespectful it is to talk with the ex.

your charm worked for a little bit but then i started to realize how you are. a little boy who always has to have the last word and can't take rejection.

This statement perfectly describes me (and many other men).

So hard to ing let it go because I want to have the upper hand and the last say.

sometimes, fighting for something that might very well never be won is just too time consuming.

i respect your opinion, but if you aren't best of friends now, you will most never be.

meh, if it bothers you so much then you guys probably have a trust issue in your relationship, don't fret over it unless you think you're planning on marrying the guy.. if you dont think so, & it bothers you a lot, then dump him :conf:

true but we once were and i really think we can still be one day. I just think if i didnt fight for it I wouldnt be me. but trust me all these things have come up in my mind, its not like i do things without thought but at the end of the day whichever way it turns i just want to be able to say I did as much as i could have done. giving a call on holidays and reaching an answering machine to wish them and thei family the best isnt much effort but its the least and the most i can do at this point.
