Looks wicked. It seems it takes the best features from other eqs (apEQ etc...) and puts them inside one package. Finally someone had the balls of making an eq gui for the modern age. No more those ass backwards knobs - yes they work on hardware units but not if you work with a mouse...
Now lets just wait and hear how it sounds, what it costs and how's on the cpu.
edit: Also wanted to give a big thumbs up for the visualizer. I can count eqs that have that one fingers on one hand (actually sonalksis and ozone only come to mind). Why someone would not think this could be useful if beyond me. Just shows how backwards thinking some developers are even today. |

I use their other plugins....they look great and alot of fun to use. The great thing i like about their plugins is that they also come with tutorials. |

I will definitely try this out. Volcano, Timeless and Twin 2 get a lot of heavy use from myself, so hopefully this also delivers. |

Looks like Fruity Parametric EQ 2 on steroids. :)
(That's a good thing, I like FPEQ2).
Their spectrum analyzer is much better though, and the 24 bands is nice (though probably overkill for me.)
Wondering on the price... |

From the website:
FabFilter Pro-Q is now available for EUR 139, USD 199 or GBP 124. It can be used on Windows and Mac OS X in VST and VST 3, RTAS and Audio Units plug-in formats. Bundles with FabFilter Pro-Q and other FabFilter plug-ins are also available.
Gonna try the demo first I think. :) |

This product is a little more expensive than their older plugins. |

Yeah, that is pretty steep, but it's no ordinary EQ and FF's quality in terms of filters speaks for itself.
Also, if you own other FF products, you get a pretty substantial discount. For example, if you bought the bundle a few months ago, you can get Pro-Q for $149. If you also happen to own Pro-C (incredible compressor!) in addition to the bundle, you can get Pro-Q for $119. |

think i paid 15 or something for Timeless2, Volcano2 and Twin2.
I know that was a sale though but anyway.... its just a EQ. |

just an EQ ?
wouldn't you say an EQ is pretty much the most invaluable tool ? The pricing seems pretty reasonable considering other high quality EQ plugins. I haven't tried the product but if it is a quality EQ , I think the pricing is fair. |
