| I honestly believe we should have Carl Cox as a headliner for resolution 2010. Montreal has never seen a big show from this guy and he would be amazing....would definetly get your money's worth there.... |

I heard DJ Champion's new CD is crap, but his old stuff was definitely fresh.
His live shows 3-4 years ago were probably some of the best I've ever been to (second only to Daft Punk ;)). |

I really really really hope there is no truth to the Choke 'n Fold / OakenJoke rumour. I can't believe he continues to get bookings....well in Las Vegas, where he has a residency. However, they don't seem to know much about proper EDM there - just silicone! He's got zero passion and creativity left IMO.
Miss Stress would be great, and no prob for Deadmau5 (I'm not a hater of his). I'm not for Champion....much too commercial for my personal tastes (although I recognize he's a big hit on the radio and my hat's off for his accomplishments).
Get Zabiela, Fanciuilli, Sultan, Beyer, Derrick Carter, Nick Warren if you want new faces/variety.
If you want to recycle, the following were hits at NYE in the past for Res/celeb : Sneak, Max Graham, Calderone, Halliwell, Vibe, Schultz, Lawler (and yes, Tiesto). |

I agree for Cox... he's a real dj. Can't miss your party when Cox is in the line-up. A true living legend
He played the first Connected in 2000 at Bell Center !!! Arrived from upstairs with a Canadiens shirt, the crowd went wild ! lol... Was playing after Tiga and before Misstress and it was an epic party for sure... He played at least one or two Cream, the last one being in 98 if i remember correctly and it was in the 'garages' at Olympic Stadium.. amazing set. He played after Chemical Brothers at Metropolis around 2002.
So he did played often in massives in Montreal but not recently
If there's no trance, i will go to Resolution this year. That being said i don't believe it will happen. Bal en Bal are trance lovers and i expect the same crap as usual |

I support the idea of Carl Cox ALL THE WAY!
I saw him at his "Join the Revolution" Closing party at SPACE in Ibiza.... WOW... that's all I can say... it was incredible...
One of the best DJs and best sets I heard during the 2 weeks I was there... and I did my best to hear almost EVERYONE.
Carl Cox is one of the world's best... and his heavy booming techno sound would be very well recieved in Montreal.
If not a massive... then at least STEREO....I gaurentee it would be worth it! |
