BRUNO BROWN & ERIK EL
I am not dissing our superb local talent at all, but I am very disapointed ! Could they not get at least 1-2 bigger int'l names (i.e. Vibe, Chus & Ceballos, Cattaneo, etc..). I'd pay 100$ no prob if it was Howells or Lawler.
Nu Love or Bain Mathieu (if there is one) looking pretty good...(just to have something original for NYE)... |

One would hope.
Will prob be one of my fav dj's for Sat night but won't be able to plan for it due to the Saturday "concept" policy. Like you said, it's meh. That, plus the massive is on the 1st - man, where have the legendary Mtl NYE parties gone ? ? (are the organisers unwilling to pay dj's for NYE premium prices...are they that money-hungry?). This NYE seriously sucks. Makes me want to head to Pacha NYC for Calderone, Paco Osuna and Mind Control (Richie Santana & Peter Bailey). |

| Hey guys what is going on with this city ! there is no good parties in montreal on new year excepted for nulove and circus. as much as i love stereo their lineups is ridiculous and same thing for redlight !! 60 dollar at the door to ear sydney blu - uppercut - cesar bas romero !! they are good djs but when you have saeed - emery - wippenberg at circus and pvd with barbara and a&b the next day this is getting ridiculous. what a shame, i remember armin playing at redlight not too long ago on new years no?!! |

Everything is fine with this city. Yes stereo didn't do their best bookings, and I have no clue on what's going on with red lite but NU love is some of the best local taltens and I have no idea how circus did their bookings but it's one of the best line ups I've ever seen for a "after-hour". Nothing much to complain. The next day you have a big line up for a massive ( if you're a trance fan ). |

I'd take this lineup at $45 over the $100 Resolution lineup the night after. Much much better beats you'll hear at Stereo, in my opinion and the local talent there is decent.
I expect something more 'noteworthy' from Stereo for the rest of that weekend, however, but the NYE lineup will pack the place for sure. |
