^^Random shots from last night. The music was solid all the way though. It was never all over the place, each person who performed before Lawler built up perfectly for him. I recognized Radio Slave- Koma Koma (Steve Lawler Remix) and the infamous Westworld track as well. It seemed as if Steve could play on longer, the crowd was eating it up. I had a good time meeting random friendly TAs and even the prissy TAs who made me laugh with their hating lolol. There has to be haters at every event. This was probably one of the parties of the year for me hands down.

Lol, I had it on, but the Transitions Digweed logo is not centered on the shirt. It's all the way to the bottom right :p

THE DRUMS -THE DRUMS - THE DRUMS
STEVE LAWLER!
Ok so we arrived at 10:30 pm, with a line starting to just go around the corner, wasn’t to bad moved fairly quickly, but the staff seemed to be bracing themselves for a busy night. We get in after checking our coats and heading up stairs we realized it was already starting to get rammed. By this point Fab and Joe were already playing a very fun set, I was very disappointed that we couldn’t go down stairs for it, in all honesty it’s been one of my favorite sets I have heard them play recently.
Right after Jimmy Hill came on, we headed down stairs to get the night started. With in minutes of us snagging a spot it was already pushing and shoving. However being in that spot was perfect at that moment, some very good friends happened to find us, and helped make the night even better. As for Jimmy Hill, I completely understand why Lawler is touring with him, He in my opinion was the perfect opener for him. It had the perfect energy, and by then end of the set everyone was pumped for Lawler.
When Lawler came on, there was just this magic in that room, that wow its finally getting started. It was amazing to hear the drums bang out at TIL, over and over again,, he really brought his A game. Hearing I get deep by late night turf guy was only second to none to Samba!
Even at close, This is London really impressed me with that vibe, if only it could be like that all the time.
But all in all AMAZING. Most likely more to come ☺

I'm only ever in town once every month or so, and it's never on weekends when parties like this happen :(

Like many people, I lost faith in him for a couple years, but his Essential Mix this year brought me back. Highly recommended. Hope to catch him soon while he's still on a streak.
