Um dem momentanen Gareth-Hype gebührend Rechnung zu tragen, stelle ich mal das folgende soeben gefundene Event ein. Nach der diesjährigen Bday-Party scheint im Januar wieder ein Knaller zu warten: nebst Gareth Emery finden sich Andy Moor UND Jon O'Bir zusammen!
Location müsste diesselbe sein wie letztes Jahr, bin mir nicht mehr sicher.
Kosten soll der Spaß 13,- GBP. Für die Anreise sollte es derzeit noch erschwingliche Flüge geben.

After our event last January in Spektrum, we've received countless requests to replicate its uber-exclusive vibe and do a small party again. And so, one year on, we are. January's got a bit of a reputation as a dead month, but we reckon two weeks is more than long enough to recover from the excesses of the festive period, and will thus be kicking off 2010's clubbing calendar on Friday 15th January with a strictly ticket only 350 capacity event.
Of course, despite the very limited numbers, we've still put together a line up of absolute quality, with two very special guests appearing alongside Garuda main man Gareth Emery.. First up, legendary UK progressive trance producer Andy Moor will be dropping in for a rare Northern appearance. Current ranked #15 in the DJ Mag Top 100, Andy only plays in the UK outside of London a handful of times each year, and the result is always a roadblock, so we're veru lucky to have roped him in for this one. Joining him will be PvD protege and current golden boy of the uplifting trance sound Jon O'Bir, who's been on fire with a slew of stunning productions throughout 2009. Support comes from local heroes Rav Takhar & Adam Flexer.
This literally is the only chance you'll get all year to catch these DJs in such an intimate environment, and Spektrum's plush, comfortable surroundings provide the perfect opportunity to head out and catch up with friends, whilst hearing a sublime selection of 2010's forthcoming anthems for the first time on a stunning Funktion One soundsystem backed up by Spektrum's trademark LED ceiling. With no VIP rooms and no 'them and us' attitude, it's also one of the few occasions where you'll find the DJs propping up the bar and tunespotting with clubbers. And best of all? Tickets are only £13 (+BF).
Last year this event sold out five weeks in advance with hundreds of people missing out, and this January's installment will likely be even more oversubscribed, so we strongly recommend buying your ticket very early if you want to ensure you get in. Please note, this event is advance ticket only: NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE NIGHT

Das Line-Up ist ja mal richtig fett!
Aber über 200 EUR für Hin- und Rückflug ab Hamburg ist mir dann doch deutlich zu doll. :confused: |

| meine beste freundin wohnt in manchester, und aus erfahrung weiß ich, dass es immer mal wieder günstige flugangebote gibt, das muss man einfach im auge behalten. alternative ist auch nach liverpool fliegen (gibbet momentan wieder für ca 60 euro), sind dann noch etwa 40 minuten nach manchester. :) |
