Rob papens predator has an exellent sub bass preset. Open the cutoff slightly, and maximize the sustain, works perfectly.

deeper, fuller, and warmer

What are you talking about? Clean and warm don't usually go together IMO, so post a sample if you want an answer.

depends on what kind of bass sound you're looking for, man. samples?

Crystal (free VST) does really clean sub bass.

Predator is more than capable of deep/full/warm basslines

Any tips for someone with FM8, Absynth, Massive, or Pro-53? ;)

polish your speakers carefully for cleaner bass

But I already do that for epic breakdown :(

I'm telling you guys, Crystal has the capability to make the cleanest sounds i've heard, especially bass, and for other cutting sounds the filters on that thing are amazing. Not bad for a free VST.

Not sure if it is, I use it for PC. Its really small file, just paste the .DLL into VST folder. As small it is, its one of most well made piece of freeware out there. Truly great if you do techy stuff, which I dont as much these days, but useful when I need a techy or clean sound, or even for making raw or dirty sounds, most capable synth i've used.

there is no real answer to this.... only u know what you wanna hear...dont spend a really long time on designing bass...it ruins the creative flow in my opinion.... all great artists draw a sketch before they get paint..... music is about expression...
