Ok, it's finished (I think :))
It got pretty long, but it shouldn't be boring. Hang in there till the second breakdown cause it's very different from the first

Thanks for the comment Ste, glad you liked it! I did spend alot of time on it. Started almost 2 months ago, not working on it everyday though :)

The remix is good! On the positive note, it sounds like a trancy state of mind mix.... Its not so twisted that you cant id it.
I think it has potential...
I will voice my opinion on what can make it better (in a positive way)
Just like you mentioned before, you stated to pay attention to the second brake....I completely agree. It caught my attention at that point. But only after that point did it really start to hit me. For a regular listener, he probably wont have that much patience...its a bit long. I would start the first break in the same fashion (not necessarily identical) as the second.
Im just saying from a listeners stand point and DJs standpoint: Why would i have to wait so long to get to the goodies? I want the good stuff right now.
Also, if im djing and a little pressed for track time, I want to my want to mix directly to the next song right after the first brake and buildup (considering I've already gotten the good stuff).
Hope you get what im saying....thats just one thing that I think would make the song more flexible, better.
Dont take the Criticizing in a negative way... like i said the remix is really good IMO, but just trying let you know what I, as a Trance DJ/listener, want to hear... considering that the song has potential and you have talent.

Nice remix Haak!

Might be a little too long, but it sounds very good the way it is. I'd like it a bit more powerful though... but that's me ;)

I'd have to listen to the original again, to see what you exactly did with it... It's not such a familiar track as Strange World or The Legacy :)

Good job mate! Take care,

i`ve heard some other tracks but i must say this is the best one from all!

i really like the bass thing that changes.. and all the layers going on.. it really sounds proffesional.. only the main leads could be improved. they are 2 weak..

but keep up this level. (and improve the leads ;))

greetz,

Thanks for commenting everybody!

Mantisnl: yeah I'm not completely satisfied with the leads myself, but I'm planning on buying a hardware synth this fall, so then I can guarantee you the leads will be pfat, hehe :D

Wow! I just listened to the full version, even better than the sample you posted a while ago.. I like the sounds you've used, it makes the song better than the original (imo)..
But as the others already said, it's a bit too long.

Nice work!
