I've only worn them once for about 15 minutes so I didn't notice any difficulty. Maybe it is an issue for longer periods of time.
It doesn't seem to be a problem for the people I work with. Three of them have the sr60i model and I haven't heard any complaints. |

| about the price of the 595s, you definitely can find them WAY under retail online. I got mine for around $120 USD |

Dr. Dre headphones are absolute . They don't necessarily sound bad but they have way too much bass (so I guess they do sound bad) and are very badly built. Every time I go into a store the band is cracked and broken. Pus, they are rather uncomfortable (imo). Last but certainly not least, they're $300. Why would you throw your money away on them when you can get better headphones for a third of the price? |

I have the HD-595's. I love them but I found out that the HD-555's use the same exact drive in the headphones but has a piece of foam over it to make it sound muffled. You can actually take out the foam from the 555's and they sound exactly like 595's.
I wouldn't mind upgrading to the 650's in a year or so time. My 595s are about 3 years old now. However, if I upgrade from these I will also have to invest in a quality headphone amp.
My EMU 0404 USB is a great source so far. |

as echo said, closed headphones have far lower listening quality, which is why they are only good for extremely noisy environments (such as clubs) when insolation comes before sound quality.
semi-opens (like the akg 240s) provide far more realistic and clear sound. |
