PPP's newest national survey finds that a 52% majority of GOP voters nationally think that ACORN stole the Presidential election for Barack Obama last year, with only 27% granting that he won it legitimately.
[...]
Belief in the ACORN conspiracy theory is even higher among GOP partisans than the birther one, which only [!!!] 42% of Republicans expressed agreement with on our national survey in September.
The GOP is dead, and will remain dead until someone can arise from their party who has a shred of common sense and doesn't act like a ing crybaby. Even then, they'll probably lose simply because their entire base is filled with a bunch of conspiracy theory idiots who get all their news from Glenn Beck.

You underestimate the power of sheer numbers and mass idiocy. Should the US fall under attack within the next few years, and Obama fail to act hasty and retributive, he will look exceedingly weak and you'll see a nation vote with its heart rather than its mind. Again.

I have a feeling Obama would attack the correct country, and attack them quickly if we were to have another 9/11. I really don't think he would hesitate on that issue.
Lira
Acorn... conspiracy?

I've said this argument before and I'll say it again ... Republicans are alleging that ACORN, a community based organization, stole 10 MILLION votes for Obama across the entire country.
Now imagine if Obama won the election by 500 votes in the state of florida, which was governed by his brother, and the liberal, activist supreme court ruled by a 5-4 decision to discontinue the recount, and then it was uncovered that the corporate heavyweights of the diebold voting machine company were HEAVY democratic campaign supporters ... can you imagine how ing retarded these very people would be??? They would ing engage in civil war. Of course being cowardly chickenhawks they would have a hard time finding people to fight for them ...

lol... I love how you guys paint with the broad brush. If the GOP is dead, what just happened in Virginia (which obama won by a huge margin) and New Jersey (one of the bluest states) with the governor's races last month? Screaming "extremist" or "conspiracy theorist" for anyone who doesn't fall in line with liberal policies is retarded.
By the way, as of November 11th:
quote:
Republicans have moved ahead of Democrats by 48% to 44% among registered voters in the latest update on Gallup’s generic congressional ballot for the 2010 House elections, after trailing by six points in July and two points last month.
Indepentants went from a dead heat last year to +22% favoring the GOP. Sounds like a hell of a lot of buyer's remorse.
And....
quote:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 27% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15. This is the lowest Approval Index rating yet measured for President Obama
As always, independents are the key:
quote:
Fifty-two percent (52%) of Democrats Strongly Approve while 68% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major political party, just 16% Strongly Approve and 51% Strongly Disapprove
Byron York further explains how internal polling data shows Obama is under 50% with every age group now for the first time, except 18-29 and making less than $2000/month. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/o...n-72577812.html
Not very Hopeandchangey if you ask me. But the GOP is dead... lol we'll see in 2010 when the backlash to the Left's overextending begins.

Say what you will, but if Palin+Beck 2012 comes into fruition, all bets are off.

Oh, if only every problem brought onto the U.S. could be fixed with a magic wand like you want, 17. All presidents, regardless of how good they are, are going to have low support ratings during times of crises and times where huge decisions are made. People are going to be confused when the government is investing a lot of money and they don't immediately see results. If only the world worked like that.
Just because some GOP governors are winning in a few blue states doesn't mean that this flip flopping between states doesn't happen all the time. I'm sure you remember the 2006 Senate and House race VERY well, when several GOP seats were lost.
17, Can you name a single GOP senator that would make a suitable president? One who doesn't rudely interrupt the president during an ADDRESS TO CONGRESS, one who doesn't bring babies and small children to the Senate Floor to make a point, one who can make good decisions, and don't you dare say John McCain.
Edit: Did you watch that video that Hal posted? That's your base, 17. That's the core of your party. Are you willing to stand beside them as they cast their votes for Sarah Palin?
