People who wear too much perfume/cologne (pg. 6)

I'm actually not poor and I never buy cheap perfume. Lol. The perfume I buy isn't even available at most stores year round. And all of my oil perfumes are custom made. If you can't afford expensive perfume, you shouldn't wear it, period.

Somebody mentioned wearing eau de toilette...well that's a perfect example of perfume you should NEVER wear. It's the cheapest/least pure out there.

Always look for PERFUME or EAU DE PARFUM on the bottle.

ok that is definitely not true

I used to work the Lancôme counter at Sears and the eau de toilette is just a slightly watered down, lighter version of the eau de parfum - which is more concentrated.

I never ever buy eau de parfum because it's way too concentrated for my liking and takes a long time to simmer and mix with skin. I like something that immediately smells pretty and fades down to a softer scent.

I don't see it in mens products :p

I guess you have to have a nose for it, but it definitely smells cheap.

i need to go to that friggin perfume store in south beach where you can make your own. it's $35 to start and that comes with 2 oils. then it's like $10 per additional oil.

Custom made oils are so ftw. They only get better with age, too.
Slylee
how many is too many oils though for one scent? you think 3 would be enough?
Silky Johnson
I think it depends on the oils and how much of each you use. Even one drop of an extra oil might make all the difference.

the only thing is i remember one time i got some patouli(sp) oil on my skin and i got an itchy rash right where it was. same thing when i spray concentrated perfume directly on my skin, i get a rash. my mom had some chanel eu de parfum and i got a rash if i sprayed it right on my wrist so i had to spritz it on my clothes instead.

i hate having sensitive skin:mad:

some new guy here wears too much cologne. even open windows and a fan blowing the stench away don't help. what's even worse is that he "freshens up" after lunch. seriously
