I'm looking for an all-in-one type security package. My laptop has mcafee on it but the 3 month trial is expiring soon and I'm wondering if there's anything else around which does a better job. 12 months of mcafee is roughly £40 (60 ish dollars) and i'm after something that works as
fireall
spyware blocker
antivirus
etc etc.
suggestions? |

| AVG free and not using the Internet like an idiot does just fine for me. :) |

| I don't either, but really, I'm never terribly concerned with too much getting past my hardware firewall (router). |

It's not hard to not get infected with Spyware, just use Adblock Plus on your firefox with an EasyList subscription (free, duh). AVG Free is the best anti-virus out there, it keeps you safe, and is mostly quiet and doesn't hog any RAM until it starts scanning :p
So wait, you're using McAfee AND AVG? Ouch, Is your computer slow? :o |

no. avg on the desktop, mcafee came on the laptop :) |
