just for the record i'm not just saying this to get a rise out of people,
and it's not a bash on music, just I find people put too much weight behind the music they listen to, in a way to describe their personality or something.
I know lots of cool people who listen to ty music, and a lot of idiots who listen to good music.

I totally agree with you. Music won't change the world, it never really could - at least not in the way most people suppose it to. Then again, people who typically hold this regard listen to like U2, or are inclined to think that festivals held to raise cancer or aids awareness do a ing thing. Protip: they're making money off of you by selling you morality as new competence.
