even Sense and Sensibility is better

My English prof LOVED Emma. I can see why it doesn't compare to her other work though. It's more, um...superficial? Just seems like so much less is going on.

so did mine (teacher in school)
but I hated all the characters - everyone just seemed so shallow

I like complex characters and/or storylines :) that's why P&P was def more up my alley

LOL YES. Omg her mother/family was SO mortifying in the 2005 version. Shameless!

Such a great novel. They say it's one of the first "sci fi" novels ever written.

+1, such a good read. I haven't read it in ages though, I should dig it up!

I think Baby Hazard likes it because of the cadance... and because monkies are funny.

I'm currently reading

How To Not Run a Club - Peter Hook
&
God Is Not Great - Christopher Hitchens

I love them both so far.

I picked this one up recently and have read about half of it so far. Another book I'd like to read is one by Reza Aslan - How to Win a Cosmic War.
Nick Cenik
Richard Dawkins - The God Delusion
