Yeah there is, an official Guinness record even. Currently it's 124 hours i think and was made last summer. The DJ, can't recall his name, was allowed to have 5 min break once an hour.
So Orkidea's 23 hours is nothing really. :haha: |

No, that's exactly what he won't do. I'm pretty sure will throw a lot older stuff starting from the early nineties and from then on.
Here's a set from him a few years ago that featured many classic tracks. The set was just over 5 hrs :)

Because it's the longest (legally) possible set one can do in a Finnish club. Clubs have to close at 04.00 and may open at 05.00 there.
It's indeed a really, really long set and I can't see myself dancing (or even standing) on the dancefloor for that long either. But lots of people seem to forget or might not know that Orkidea, though mostly known as a trance DJ, also plays down tempo and house and for this occasion he might thrown in other EDM genres as well, so it's not like he's gonna play trance for 23hrs in a row.
23 hrs will be challenging, but he's done 16hrs before. |

He's going to need a lot of... red bull. And no other chemical enhancements. None!
He's got wicked track selection and great mixing skills. Would love to see him!
