Since alot of the "younger" crowed on TA didn't get a realy chance to experience Aria like you guys, would you say that Aria was Montreal's best after?

Definately the best of the best. Stereo was also amazing but a different vibe.

In ARIA's heyday I think it was the best. Nobody booked as big as they did and they would often have multiple superstar DJs in the same night. The residents killed it as well! (Preach and Marco G were not to be missed)
My first ARIA experience was back when I used to like trance in 2003 during F-1 weekend. Tiesto, followed by Armin van Buuren followed by Guy Ornadel, all three of which were ranked in the top 25 on the DJ Mag top 100. How ARIA afforded to book such huge names all the time is beyond me. It must have gone beyond just losing money to setting it on fire. ARIA had a dark underground vibe to it that I loved. Unfortunately toward the end it became really sketchy there, they stopped booking big, and Preach was no longer a resident so I had no reason to go there anymore. Sad to see how ARIA went out.

I've been there a couple of times. My first ever Club/after-hour experience was there for infected mushroom on new years eve about 5 years ago and it was amazing. And came back a couple of times, twice to see Ferry Corsten. When we posted a month ago Aria's bookings i fell off my chair. We had "Ibiza-bookings" in Montreal. Sucks that we don't have this anymore. Stereo is much fun but I hate their concept. Circus is doing amazing bookings, but when the place is packed it's impossible to breath..
