niccce... i've done acid "once or twice".. it's pretty fun, as it gives you a totally new perspective on things. I haven't had much cartoonish hallucinations tho, mostly just walls/floors/roads that are dripping and . Streets looks like rivers etc. But it does with your head something fiercly tho. I have had a couple of bad experiences that have made me stop taking LSD for a good while at least. Right now, i don't use many drugs. I'm trying to drop all the chemical , but you know..you're on your way to a party, you arrive, some guy you know says "oh dude, you GOTTA try this . Free4uMYman!" and BOOM your right back again :P "and they pull me right back!" hehe
just be careful, you DONT want to overdo it, trust me haha. YOu've all seen the what happens then lol :P |

| i've only done it... 3 times? 4 times? i forget. but i've never had a "bad trip" either. mushrooms i've done a countless amount of times and i'd say that i've had just as many bad times on them as good- all due to mindset and setting though. acid is a completely different experience.. but, as with all psychedelics, it's an experience that i don't care to repeat at this point in my life. :p |

We used to have acid parties at my house all the time. We knew a dealer and he'd just come over with a sheet of acid and that would be it. 8 hours of total ery. I got lost in my own basement once. Lol.
I also have a fat sack of zooms in my drawer right now, that gave me visual and physical hallucinations 10 times stronger than any acid trip I'd ever had. And I've done a lot of strong acid. So ed up. Blinded by fractals, literally. |

| My best friend and I want to try shrooms....but I heard it's a "darker" trip than LSD. Oh and neither of us have tried anything that makes us hallucinate...unless you count MDMA+MDA pills lol but all I saw was a man a few feet away from me in my hotel room which turned out being a bed post and the walls were spirally. |

I'd say it's different for everybody. I personally always found with acid that it was way more mind ery. I would always see people for what they really were. Like I would hallucinate them morphing into their "true" selves...if that makes sense. Happens to me almost every time. For a lot of people that might not be so fun, lol.
Shrooms for me have always been more childlike and giggly, and natural feeling. LSD feels more...chemical/less emotional. Hard to explain, really. The main difference I guess is just the overall mood. |

Never got a chance to drop acid unfortunately :(
Did shrooms a whole bunch of times and it was fun. My dad tells me stories how he used to drop Acid every second day in school when he lived in California... :wtf: |

You ruined my ninja edit but thank you. I've heard similar things from other people. The whole "you see people for their true selves" on LSD. Really interesting, don't know if I want to experiment with LSD yet....I think shrooms is a big step for me. |

| At the end of the day, you're going to have your own unique experience no matter what anyone else says. The main thing is that both are totally safe (if you're not a moron) and the potential for fun far outweighs the potential for bad...but honestly, even bad trips are fun if you just go with it and ride it out. I mean that's all you can do. And I mean, why do you think it's called a trip to begin with? |

when i compare the two experiences (lsd vs. psilocybin) i always call the mushroom trip "organic", but i think that's just because of my preconception that mushrooms occur naturally and not due to any actual feelings of.. organic-ness. lol
as jp said, it's different for everybody. and the difference is just.. different. heh. anywayS you can't go wrong with tripping with your best friend in a controlled environment- you two will have a blast, for sure. |
