You can control your trip, just don't cut your foot, dumbass :p
How the hell did you trip for 18 hours, did you eat half a sheet or something? :wtf: |
No, I think the tabs must have been triple dipped or something. No trip I have ever had any other time, was as visual, and intense as this one. I just endured for hours on end, waiting and wanting it to end, but it just wouldn't. Crazy stuff. Flowers coming out of the floor and walls dude. The flowers. |

At the end of the day, you're going to have your own unique experience no matter what anyone else says. The main thing is that both are totally safe (if you're not a moron) and the potential for fun far outweighs the potential for bad...but honestly, even bad trips are fun if you just go with it and ride it out. I mean that's all you can do. And I mean, why do you think it's called a trip to begin with? |
yup, bad trips really aren't that bad- it's just your mind playing tricks on you and usually it's just an occurence of a bad thought process that you can't get out of your head. , that happens with everyone, even during sobriety. it's an experience, but i don't think it's an experience that i think EVERYONE should have (like mdma, for example)

You ruined my ninja edit but thank you. I've heard similar things from other people. The whole "you see people for their true selves" on LSD. Really interesting, don't know if I want to experiment with LSD yet....I think shrooms is a big step for me. |
i think that's the case with psychedelics in general. usually near the end of the trip i get deeply, deeply introspective about myself, others, my situation, etc. so perhaps that "you see people..." theory is just an extension of an introspective thought process that most people experience. |

when i compare the two experiences (lsd vs. psilocybin) i always call the mushroom trip "organic", but i think that's just because of my preconception that mushrooms occur naturally and not due to any actual feelings of.. organic-ness. lol
as jp said, it's different for everybody. and the difference is just.. different. heh. anywayS you can't go wrong with tripping with your best friend in a controlled environment- you two will have a blast, for sure. |
Well yeah of course everyone is different I was just saying that that isn't the first time someone has told me about people revealing their true selves on LSD...
What do you think about listening to The Dark Side of The Moon on shrooms for my first time? Or is that too much? I find it pretty intense on weed and that's nothing lol...so I don't know. And yeah we're definitely going to do it in a controlled environment. |

I would see that the whole trip though. Lots of people are snakes, lemme tell ya. This one girl kept sprouting devil horns and a forked tongue would sliver out of her mouth. She truly scared the out of me.
The best trips are when you have visual + auditory + physical hallucinations altogether. Actually you're far more likely to have that with acid than with shrooms. |

Lol, good luck staying focused on that. Try watching The Wall. Or Alice in Wonderland. |

do it, i've done that plenty of times. sasha & digweed - northern exposure vol. 1 was really, really interesting also. good music sets the experience imo.
though, DSotM is like, the really common, typical, everyone-and-their-mothers have heard it pink floyd album :p branch out a bit, yo. |

I love Alice in Wonderland! Don't shrooms last a good 6-8 hours? I'll have plenty of time to watch a movie, listen to a few albums, etc. |

yeah, you will almost definitely NOT lose control, or have intense visual hallucinations on mushrooms. lots of patterns and movements on surfaces, lots of crazy thoughts that race through your mind.. etc. nothing you can't handle i'm sure. it's really not a big deal.
the peak lasts a couple hours i'd say but the whole experience until you pass out is about 6-8 hours. the next morning you feel.. weird, too. |

| Depends...I'd say more 4-6 hours. I would seriously recommend just buying a half ounce (more than enough for two first timers) and just munch on the bag all night long. It's the best way really. Start with a cap or two, or a couple stems or w/e...see how you feel after an hour and go from there. Plus if you do it that way your trip comes in waves, and it's ing awesome. |

Not true at all. I've had lots of intense hallucinogenic shroom trips. See my post earlier in the thread.
Oh also, GO OUTSIDE. Outdoors in a park, or on the beach, in a forest...any natural setting, is ftw on shrooms.
edit: my bf and I used to eat a bunch of zooms and go to the park...then we'd walk to the airport here (small aircraft) and just lie on the tarmac looking up at the sky. So awesome. |

| Iv'e always found shrooms to be WAY wackier than LSD. real LSD is serene, I don't know why shrooms became so much more socially exceptable to be honest. When someone brings up LSD there's always the misinformed spew of "OMG im gonna jump out a in window and end up in a mental wing"! |
