Mofos like to use these important sounding terms. This is a ''nearfield reference monitor'' makes people feel important and . Like they are flying a helicopter or something. Very very important stuff here you are doing here cowboy... Can you accurately judge the frequency response and bass energy from the ''monitors'' or are the reflections and cabinet resonance making the electro fart bass sound more prominent in the mix then it is on consumer grade equipment'' If so upgrade your monitors. :disbelief Here. $4000. Give me your money trick. Bouahahahaha |

Mofos like to use these "important sounding terms" because they are accurate. You don't call a donkey a horse just because they happen to look a bit similar and work in a similar manner.

It's a speaker. That's all the is to it. It takes electricity and converts it to sound for you to hear when you play a cd or mp3 download. But if you call it something pompous and important-sounding you can charge people more ;) And say
-this is not a speaker this is an ''accurate nearfield reference monitor.''
