You got it backwards, man. In a relationship, people are still holding onto some vague idea of being in love. Once they've been married for a few years, they've admitted to themselves and each other that they despise one another. Ask any married couple, you know it's true.

If you believe this statement, that all marriages inevitably end up as loveless unions that bind two people to each other, then I sincerely hope you never intend to get married.

People have been cheating since people started coupling, to say that "in this day" blah blah blah, whatever.

"Back in the day", it was almost expected that Men cheat, their wives knew but dealt with it because the man was the provider and sucked it up.

At least these days, women feel more empowered to leave their man if they are cheating.
