does trance make you stupid?

i heard from alot of people that trance makes you stupid because its always has a constant beat and plays in loops... so your brain gets used to it... for example while i was listening to the vocals to orbital - halycon & on & on (which is a good song) i actually felt lost and found myself just staring at the wall lol... i dont know, it must be those vocals.
hmm maybe just that song has a hidden message if you played it backwards...i dont know, why do people like it so much when it actually doesnt say one word of a spoken language. |

well personnaly I listen to every style of music on earth BUT, with trance it's a whole different matter
when I'm listening to it , I dream of trance,
when I'm not listening to it, I want to listen to it
it's a vicious circle,
it's like each time I get out of a club my head is spinning for days, almost weeks, ( luckally I don't get to go to often otherwise I'd be living as if I was on drugs ) .... is that what they call the fall back ?

seriously I'm damm addicted.......
when I'm walking around , house streets store or whatever, I often spontaneouly start dancing and dreaming

your not staring at the wall cause your dumb, is a lot more emotionally involved than other music.... it sorta takes you on a trip, interacts more with the listener i guess
i also hear that listening to music slows down the neurons in your brain, while you listen to it, if your like me and listen to it 24/7 then your brain's probably taking a while to regain its normal speed..................lol, what the hell was that?? |

| Well, some songs put me in a "trancy state" if thats what you wanna call it. I guess you can say it makes me stupid...but It doesnt totally just shut down my brain or anything, because it if did then I would be in a lot of car crashes. But there is always that one song that makes me feel *different* |
