Is there such a thing as a meow collar?

I know bark collars exist but I need something like that only for my cat. He goes off every morning like a damn alarm clock at around 5:15 am and it's driving me insane. Every morning. I wake up at abour 6 or so normally to get up for work so I usually have to lay there for an hour of disrupted sleep and listen to him cry like a bitch. The loaded water pistol by the bed doesn't work because I actually have to get up to spray him and he won't shut the up anyway. How do you get a cat to stop meowing?
UPDATE: I did some research and found this.

"My cat meows for no reason at all hours of the night and morning. I never sleep. She jumps in the window and meows at the street lights or the neighbors. She meows at the ceiling. She meows at the wall. She meows at 12:00 midnight. She meows at 3:00AM. She meows at 5:00AM. There is no reason for it. She always has food 24/7. She is healthy. Her meow is loud and hurts my ears. I want her to stop. I can't take it anymore. I started locking her in a crate in a room upstairs with the door shut when I sleep. Unfortunately, I don't have the heart to crate her every night when I sleep. Someone should invent a cure to this incessant, pointless cat-meowing problem!"

"My cat panther is an old skinny, molted and sad cat. i got him for half price at the SPCA. he poos everywhere and pees on my clothes. he throws-up whenever he eats grass. his hips are bad and he may be blind. he meows all day, everyday. his meows penentrate walls and doors. he can meow straight for more than two days. i hate and love him. i would pay seventy dollars or more for a way too shut him up. he smells."

| Let your hands be the collar. Let the lack of inhaling be your guide to a proper fit. |

Lock your cat in the bathroom at night. Then you can ignore him all you want until you wake up.
I have very vocal cats, and they meow if they're hungry, want to play, or if the litter box needs cleaning. Otherwise they're chill.
Figure out what your cats needs and quit squirting him with water u retard. |

| Have you tried altering its feeding schedule? If it doesn't have one, make one. Feed it right before you go to bed so that it's not hungry in the morning - or at least isn't hungry until you're ready to get up perhaps. |

My mom always complained about one of our two cats waking her up at 5 am every morning and she had to let it outside.
One weekend she was out of town so I stayed at the house and at 5 am the cat started meowing to wake me up.
I squirted her once with a water bottle and she ran away.
The next morning she meowed again, I held up the bottle, and she ran away.
My mom has said that since that weekend the cat no longer attempts to wake her up. |
