I asked for a 9 piece McNugget and I got yelled at...I am never ordering again!

Bah you guys know what I mean. It's like the girl situation when your girlfriend is upset and you ask if they are ok and they say "I'm FINE" and then when you ask what's wrong they say "you should know".

I don't get people that that. Just speak up! You're never going to be happy if you continually suppress what is bothering you and making you unhappy in the first place.

Because there are natural born leaders and then there are the majority who are not. Not everyone is the same and just as you can't understand why they are like that, they can't understand why you are like you are.

Lack of assertiveness?

As a passive person myself, I can think of several suggestions for my mine and my peoples' ways:

-complete and total apathy towards the world
-lack of emotional bonds with anyone or anything
-lack of self-esteem and self-confidence that make being assertive impossible
-being introverted
-good healthy doses of pessimism, defeatism and cynicism.

A passive person sits in silence at the drive-thru because they know that it doesn't matter what food they get, it's gonna be anyway.

oh man.. people get therapy for being like that.

I see where its going.. you are trying to make this a DA thread, dont you?

Like how he should have taken therapy to tell what he wants... instead of committing suicide.

some passive people are simply more confident, and don't feel the need to prove themselves to others.

i personally am pretty passive (to people i don't know, or like especially) because i can't be ed, and don't give a about what they think...

it's easier to let them believe what they believe, instead of trying to win everything...
i'm confident enough with myself to not have to voice my opinions about everything, even if the other person if wrong, or being a dick...
it's a drainer always stepping up to retards, i'm happy to let them figure it out for themselves...

for people i care about, or issues i care about i'm much more assertive and more of an ass-hole :)

half the time dealing with retards is simply so draining i preffer to remain passive, and avoid it. I don't feel the need to be right to people i don't give a about :)
