Well, within 2 weeks I will hopefully have enough $$$ to buy the setup from my friend's girlfriend.....major components are.....

Technics SL-1200MK3D tables
and
American DJ Q-3433 Mixer (I know it probably isnt great, I wanted the Vestax PCV-275 but I will save for that one or whatever will be out there)

What I wanted to know is the difference between the SL-1200MK2 and the SL-1200MK3D?

The equipment is virtually brand new.....would you pay $700 (USD) for it!?!

Thanks! :D
fieroavian
think it has been discussed before.

Thanks for the info.....I was looking at them myself and they looked pretty similar, just wanted to make sure....

Does anybody know the weight of the SL-1200MK3D table?!?!
I would like to know so I can figure out what my shipping charges are going to add upto. The technics site doesnt even have it, and I looked around on on-line DJ stores with no luck.

700 for 2 tables and a mixer:rolleyes: i dont know sounds alright to me. I paid 900 for my setup. which was:

2 Technics SL-1200MK2
Numark DM2002X Pro Master Mixer
4 Stanton Trackmaster II needles (2 are brand new still in box)
Coffin
Coffin Stand
all the cables

Only thing i didnt get was headphones.. which i am in the works of getting either Sony mdr 7506 or v700's.

Yeah it sounds like a good deal, and I somewhat know the girl selling them to me....

It includes needles and slipmats and everything to get it started!!

missing the headphones as well, although I have my eye set out on the Sennheiser 280s, heard many great things about them!

scroll down a page in threads.. There is in depth discussion on differences between Mk2 and M3ds.. Very little. M3Ds just add a few conveniences that not all like..
