Woooo Sander van Doorn!! It seems as this is replacing How Sweet It Is, which is strange to me.

Mang, I dunno how to say it w/o sounding like a ahole...but, SoCal is gonna get too watered down with the big events at some point.

Nice to see SvD get a main stage (I assume?) appearance though.

SoCal can be a special spot for massives, but just can't throw different themes at the same couple locations with the same Djs (this part is typical and has always been like this, but I can still want more variety!). When all this is happening, they lose what makes them special.

Yep, sound like an ahole...but not my intention.

Merry xmas!

i def. agree, but from a promoters pov, these events are getting larger and larger so why not.

I know it's business, and when talking abotu this stuff I am always worried about people using certain things against me as to why i say it. Makes posting on TA difficult sometimes. : But it's just a personal opinion, and not looking at it in any other way.

Suckering? No? If you don't want to go. simply stay home?

this is around the same time of how sweet it is.
so you can count HSII out of the map.

This festival has a very familiar theme to our first Nocturnal Wonderland..We missed the Alice & Wonderland Theme. So now we're re-introducing it.

As far as Artist maybe you can give me some logical examples of what you mean? who would you like to see?

"sucker" was a bad word. Why I changed it, prob while you were typing your reply. hehe. My apologies. You're right. It's a person's choice. You're not promising something and not delivering, so no suckering involved. Again, my apologies.

I am just saying, as a fan of EDM, if more events/massive like this are gonna be put together, doing something different that throwing a different theme together with the same DJs at the same big venues would be nice. What's really used? Arena/Coliseum/NOS/Shrine. By all the production groups. So, not talking about what one production group, but all combined when looking at these events. So, at the very least, finding new venues would be pimp to make the parties feel different in as many ways possible. And I'm not saying this towards any one promoter. This is something that the "massives" need in general, and something that would probbably be easier to do in SoCal than pretty much any other part of the US. Most other cities/areas would be very difficult to work with in securiny good, new venues.

Would just be nice to see something fresh. And if it's at fresh venues for events like this, I think people would be more laxed on seeing the same DJs, because the event itself will feel a bit different.

Of course, as previously said, it's largely business in the end when it comes to the lineups. So I'm not amazed. And don't expect it to stop. Even though, as a fan, I shouldn't even care about the business side when expressing what I think would be nice. That said, if something could be done that's fresh and be something the production groups may be more willing to do, it's finding different venues. :p Not saying change the venues of current massives, but if new ones are gonna be developed, a different home for them -a place no other EDM is thrown at or rarely thrown at - would be awesome.

Oh yeah, other acts for Wonderland include 12th Planet, AC Slater, Star Eyes.

pvd was at edc n svd was at edc and at code this year already! i dont mind seeing him because i missed him at both, but i agree with davet. what about other djs? i havent seen lange, dj feel, first state, w&w, jochen miller, super8 & tab, richard durand, tyDi, ronski speed, n the list goes on.. at any insomniac events or socal events lately...i dont mind all the massives, the bay area only has popsicle and love fest/parade afterparty which isnt enough for me and smaller ones like etd love and give thanks. they used to have a load in the bay area..cyberfest, planet new year, metropolis, etc.

The one DJ I've been dying to see forever is Wippenberg. I'm even listening to Chakalaka as I type this.
