Wow, It has been 10 years for Tiesto Live @ Energy

Lots of great tunes that were missing in some of the DJs mixes so i decided to put together top 20 of 2009 mix that i think trance would love. All pure melodic emo epic trance with rolling BASSLINES, thumpin KICKS, crisp HI HATS, & atmospheric PADS!!

I wonder if he'll ever make a track like this again??
and one of my fav's of all time.

its funny how lets use tiesto for example became known through the tracks many of us like and yet he (they) stray so far from it today. Happens with many artists.
One artist who strayed and actually went back to being decent is Oakie. If you catch his sets (especially the ones focused for edm fans rather than a general club night) they are much better now (more like his old essential style - little heavier now but still).
I did see MIKE Push recently and that was killer. Still true to his name. Not like new blank and jones, cosmic gate, etc.
Needs to be a massive festival with a classics theme. DanceValley Classic? Trance Energy Classic... etc.

couldn't agree more, for the last 2 months I've been listening to all the classics for some reason, and then I realized that it's because it's now been a decade that I started out on the scene. and man, what a start it was..twilo nights every week! I was even thinking today that the best club nights of my life have all been spent in late 99 to 01, most all of them in twilo. I still appreciate the music that's being put out today, there are good new producers who weren't around in those days like andy duguid and breakfast to name a few offhand, but now I realize that the days I look back on most were the days when I started out on the scene, twilo was my home every week, & I converted half my co-workers/best friends to edm addicts like myself..
currently listening to sasha's gu ibiza, one of the best and coolest classic edm albums ever imo..
