Why doesn't Sven Vath ever comes/gets booked in LA?

Why doesn't Sven Vath ever come to LA? Anyone know? Does he have something against LA like Tenaglia used to? It seems like no one books him. I can't even remember the last time he played here. He plays in Mexico every year, but not LA. :(
Sven is one of the very few DJ's I still yet to see. |

The only time I saw him was in Toronto in 2003.
Every time a promoter tries to book him, apparently he is always booked up solid for like a year, so it's hard to book him. Hmmm... I wonder where he is getting booked? I haven't heard anything from him within the past few years. The last live set I heard from him was a set he did with James Holden, about 3-4 years ago. |

He would definitely draw, I don't believe that's it
Just my opinion only and more so as a fan, because he's one of my all time favorites
Yes he does book himself a year in advance and I believe he dedicates the first month or two of the year to his family; especially his daughter.
Following that, between his label, clubs, residencies and his age.
I would be selective with my gigs too
Just an assumption only, but he seems to be choosing event/locations where he knows for sure the vibe will be to his preference
I follow his calendar often, it's ridiculous; he plays in areas of the world I've never even heard of and I've traveled to many places.
It's not like he would have any problem getting gigs here
