something a bit different from me, since being off work over christmas, ive been chilling out and listening that huuuuuge stack of music that ive accumulated over the year..you know? you say..yeah that'll be a good listen, i'll put that on when i get a minute..and that minute never comes.

anyway, ive been into lo-fi and downtempo for a while now and i just love the way it sounds, the snap, crackle and pop of them rice crispy cake vinyls, the balls of dust that deposits at the razor sharp diamond nib of the stylus of some ty grammophone that cost a fiver at the local booty then you dig thru all them boxes of old smelly vinyls and suddenly..

Ace mix, dude, really nice one here. I was waiting for some serious rap lyrics to just bust out of this mix, but regardless, every beat in this set was perfect, trippy, and badass. Quite the trip-hop feel here, lots of scratching, cool effects, and neato low-fi crackling sounds to make it sound like you mixed these on a grammaphone :p

Mixing was solid, if not a bit abrupt at times. I felt with some of your transitions, seeing as how the beats were almost perfectly synced, you could have introduced the incoming track a little more subtly. Regardless, flow was outstanding and tracks were great.

My favorite was without a doubt, Kick in the Door. However, my least favorite followed, Witness Dub seemed a little more spacey than I would have liked.

Great set, dude, I will check out your other ones too. Keep up the good work! :D

awesome review Z-DOG :toocool: i was going to slam a hip hop rap track or two in there but it would defy my point of making an instrumental this time YO WORD TO THE GRAMMYPHONE

oh. and how can you not like witness dub? that is dope right tharrr..

though my least favorite was probably jeru...it got too repetitive but i was absolutely stoned off my horse to realise and do something about it :haha: :wtf:

glad u enjoyed it brother

moar coming up...sometime maybe
