Worst come to worst he ends up with someone to pass around at after-parties. |

It's worse with women, because for some reason so much of their self worth is dependent on a man's opinion/treatment of her. |
You say that as though it's a bad thing? |

| I think it's a bad thing for any person to rely upon others in such a manner. |

There are very few things that genuinely sicken me, but knowing people like this is actually one of them. |

I think such a reliance would be bad for me, personally, as well, though it's hard to deny that there are a lot of people out there who have absolutely no qualms with it, and wouldn't know the first ing thing about surviving on their own anyways. They're really quite better off submitting to somebody else and being told what to do at every point, fact of life. |

| Nono, men and women should be friends, we just need to second guess the nature of friendship as well as our sexual boundaries. :o |

Why are you assuming that she wants to be your girlfriend?
What if she just wants to around and date casually?
It's actually very annoying when guys think that all girls want a relationship - so unless she's given you overt signals pointing to wanting a relationship, scratch this idea (though I'm sure it has done wonders for your ego, thinking that this hot lady wants to be yours)
I know you're like 19-20 so it must be hard for you to discuss things openly because it takes all the fun out of "the game", but if you really care about this as much as you appear to, just tell her straight up that you think she's cool and you know yourself and you don't want her to end up on "your list" and out of your life. |

Playing the odds is the smart thing to do, especially when its your freedom at stake. D: |

One's freedom is never actually at stake. One can always extracate themself from a relationship if they belive the benefits outweigh the costs. |

I wasn't denying it at any point. |

No.
The smart thing to do is to lay down the ing terms and see what the is really going on.
Yes it makes everything less fun, and we all love a little drama in our lives, but like I said, if you care enough, you have to ing talk it out and see where you're both at. |
