YES! This was the first place I hit when I was home for the first time in 3 years this past fall. Love their wings.
And yeah, Phil's is one of the best holes ever. I remember going there back in 95 when domestic beer and rye-n-cokes were $1.25 before 11:30. Other than the flooding, the worst part was climbing the stairs to get out of the place after a solid night of drinking. |

Well Morty's it is...talked to the rest of the guys, seems to have won the vote.
What kind of wings you recomend? I checked the menu and I think i'm partial to cajun usually... might try the saucy cajun...
Any other food recomendations there?
How are their drink/beer prices?
As for Phils... is it a type of bar you need to go WITH people, or can you wander in on your lonesome and still make a night out of it and have some fun? (really wish the peeps I am with were not such lame asses!) |

noooo! do no go into phils ever!
that bar is dirty sloppy slutty and a whole lot more. I've been to phils a couple times and its dreadful.
Maybe check out starlight. Its nice inside, but a bit more open for dancing. If you're looking for a place to go alone, then just find a cozy pub with local brews and you're laughing. |

At Morty's you can partition your sauces, so 6 wings Cajun, 6 weeks honey garlic (which is the one I recommend), etc.
For Phil's, you'll need to check it out on Friday or Saturday, the weekdays aren't as strong. BTW: This weekend it'll be crazy in there since the students are back from holidays, definitely a must. :D

Well Morty's it's not anymore... the other guys I came up here with each have their own dinner plan tonight, so i'm on my own for dinner, prob just grab the keg again right by the hotel.
BUT......
Jayx1 is coming down to the KW and we're hitting the town...:crazy:
perhaps Mortys or Wildcraft place tomorow night :(
Gotta meet one of the managers for a "work"beer at some pub called the Duke tommorow night... wonder what else is around there? |
