Thanks guys for all your input. I updated the list and alphabetized it. Hope it's more useful this way.

I didn't add any plugins that came with the DAW because they're DAW dependent. In other words, you have to buy that DAW to get the plugin. But if you guys want to, I can add them but I'll create another category.

Please do go over the list and make sure it's correct cuz I dunno half of them. lol

BTW, what on earth are Channel Strips?

A channel strip is a general term for a hardware or software module that contains the same features that you'd find on a single channel of a mixing board (and then some). They usually have a preamp (hardware only, of course), EQ section, gain/level, etc. Many of them also have additional modules like on-board compressors/limiters, de-essers, noise gate/expander, enhancer/tube emulation, etc.

Just an idea, but the link is a damm good idea. maybe a blurb in relation to each could be worth some thought. I am a newy and from a newy point of view with limited experience I would find it useful.
