I'm kinda craving for melodic sounds lately. And since Daniel Kandi - Child can't quench my thirst , I'm looking for artists similar to Yiruma , basically the kind of emotional , melodic music. Anyone got any suggestion?
No Chopin , Beethoven , Mozart , Liszt or you-know-who please! Not that I don't call it melodic , but I'm just looking for more 'contemporary' music.
Note :PIANO ONLY!! I'm not asking for piano trance.

Thematic music always packs the melodic+emotional punch for me. It helps if you were a fan of the games, but the songs are pleasant on their own.

kind of random, but the unfaithful soundtrack by jan a.p. kaczmarek is great. i used to listen to that on loop for all my all-nighter college nights.

Yeah, most of the FF series has separate piano collection albums released for them... unfortunately, they are a bit pricey due to import fees. FFX had some lovely music (even though it was a mediocre game :P), am interested in the piano collection posted above.
