Wish we could confirm this. | I don't really know if it can be true, hopefully someday have this track I really love it, anyway. He also said "When you've been around as along and I have, you see and hear some ****." so not sure, I hope some Trance Master can confirm this |

Track 6 from Radio BU, Israel 31/12/2000
Is anybody else scratching their head over this excellent tune?
I have put in long hours searching for this track over recent months. I have discounted lots of other artists and labels, but still no luck yet. Does anybody think it's a PvD production/remix that got shelved? I think it has the hallmarks of his work imo.
The search goes on 😅 |

The search goes on 😅 | I posted it on reddit not long ago, no luck, some say it could be PvD production and some not, Vandit style for sure but at the same time I doubt it is from anyone from Vandit, Ive been checking a lot too, no luck either sadly |

I have been down loads of dead ends in my search. If it was by someone obvious, it probably would have been id'ed by now.
The little snare drum roll before the melody reminds me of drum roll on Viframa - Cristalle. But i have checked everything by their producers, and aliases etc. Nothing 😅 |

This song its pretty much similar, mostly the start of
C*Y*B - It's too funky
https://youtu.be/PstWuzWLngM
Someone named "Rialto" has said this too: A label manager who was near to PVD said it’s not a PVD production.
Another one named "Dan Ham" has said this: WooooW. I remember this tune. Heard it even in a Club in Lloret de Mar back in 2001. Brilliant Trance.
Also said the DJ who was playing was Dutch back then, Ive tried to look for some Sets at that Club but nothing sadly.
Another thing Ive noticed is that he hasn't played in any other set from back then I belive, just at Radio BU, never heard in any other set from PvD |

Yeah. I have read all of that info before. Some guy said Dj Jean played it, that reference is interesting, but i have checked all his dj sets from around that time, and mix cd's and found nothing. Also, it's 20 years ago, so mabye that guy's memory is a bit hazy. Haha
I agree, i have never heard anybody else play it in any set, plus like you say PvD only played it once. I have been checking through tracklists of his old Soundgarden/Fritz shows, and not come across it there. I have messaged a youtuber called tranceforeverclassics who posts obscure trance, and he doesn't know it either.
Also, it definitely has the same template as C*Y*B 'It's To Funky'
Thats very interesting indeed!
This one is a tough one!
Could even be a rare acetate, which no one has! |
