That intrigues me only bc it's Anjunadeep, which is solid. Best part would be the original re-release of course. ;)

Seems unnecessary? :conf:

Yeah, nothing too exciting going on there from the short sample. Really just re-styled to fit in a modern prog house set.
you can DL Phrakture's remix of Flaming June, it's up there with Chicane's remix!

yeah oakey has said it before... he doesn't want to bother with the "red tape" as said earlier in regards to digitally releasing perfecto's back catalog. shame but oh well.
hunt discogs, ebay , and gemm for old CD releases and you can find stuff rather cheap (not as cheaply as on beatport, unfortunately).

Good. The only way some of this old stuff is getting digital releases is when its wrapped up in a package of 200x or 201x remixes. But I can live with that :D

Am I the only one who doesn't like the Chicane remix? Much prefer HHC's mix, although even that doesn't touch the original.

I like the Chicane remix, but I also prefer the HHC over it. And you are right, nothing touches the original (pvd and bt mix, right?)
GrimReaper
I've always liked Chicane remix but it's not my fav version either.
Notice there are some differences in structure, arrangement and energy between the BT & PvD version on ESCM and the BT & PvD remix version on singles. The less stomping version on the album, BT & PvD Original Mix (9:14) isn't quite as "in your face" as the more stomping version on all the other singles, BT & PvD Remix (8:50 / extended 11:06). The longer cut of the remix is only available unmixed on the PvD compilation that was pointed out to you earlier.

Agreed on the HHC remix, definitely the best remix for me. The Chicane remix to me lacks alot of energy.
Speaking of HHC, they've made some really oustanding stuff especially under the talisman and hudson/talismantra aliases. Very underrated.

The BT & PvD Remix of Flaming June is available on Beatport. Only it's territory restricted and I can't buy it

The ESCM version with the drum 'n bass outro is a neutering of the full BT & PVD mix.
