Just like the title says.
Let me know what I can do to make this as easy as possible.
keep it simple & I will do what I can to help out.
-Would you rather keep ALLL WMC info in this WMC Forum?
If so you I need to change the forum guidelines & EVERYONE needs to follow it to make it happen
- Would you want the other WMC thread closed & start a new Event Thread Only?
If so ONLY WMC EVENY INFO shall be posted in there so Echoform can post it to the Master List.
Let me know what other suggestions.

Well I am a newbie but I will give my suggestions just to try and help out.
I like the fact that we have the WMC 2010 forum now thats a great thing.
In it should be the following threads:
1. WMC 2010 Bitches!: :: Official TA 2010 Winter Music Conference Events List ::
that is very helpful also it being locked keeps unwanted post.
2. The current Go to first new post WMC: 2010.03.23-2010.03.27 [WMC] Winter Music Conference 2010 General Discussion Thread should be locked now.
3. A new thread called "General Discussion 2 should be made and thats where new events can be posted and even discussions about them, random questions, etc....
4. Also still let people make new threads about individual parties which where people can rear on the specific party and post roll calls, meet ups, in that same thread etc... Like stated in the guidelines only 1 thread per party and everything relative in that thread!
5. I very much dislike the thread above all other threads in the WMC 2010 forum called "Click here for Florida / WMC Event Listings" that is confusing, once in the WMC 2010 is should be strictly WMC related stuff.
5. Then random new threads can pop about transportation, list of stuff to bring, other stuff.
So in theory when someone opens up the WMC 2010 forum they should see the guidelines thread first, then the locked events list by echoform first, then the locked general discussion thread, then after that the new general discussion 2 thread, then whatever is made next.
So hopefully down the road I will get in the WMC 2010 forum and see new threads about individual parties and find out who all is going to that party etc... |

Will take into consideration

Sounds like a good idea & I will also make a note of this recomendation

It can be done as I have no problem with individual party threads being made. Only thing is if you (the thread creator) creates the thread make it correct & not half ass. (Ex: like you did MDTECHNO) full info in the thread. Thus making thos threads the Roll call thread as well
5. I very much dislike the thread above all other threads in the WMC 2010 forum called "Click here for Florida / WMC Event Listings" that is confusing, once in the WMC 2010 is should be strictly WMC related stuff.
That unfortunatley that was done by the MOD GODS. LOL! Thats Y I asked in here if it would be easier to post all events in here instead?
6. Then random new threads can pop about transportation, list of stuff to bring, other stuff.
Last year(s) made a WMC supplies Thread. So not surprised if it pops up again

Totally agree.

Yes very much would help and be easier IMO!!
That yellow arrow moving around next to " Click here for Florida / WMC Event Listings" just it odd and out of place that whole thing is IMO.
should not even be there IMO.
Thanks again. |

Also I enjoyed reading the 2009 WMC forum just to try to catch / learn any information to help me make party choices etc...
It seemed very easy to search and find things as well.
I just want to make sure I can find everything I need this year since this is my first time and I dont want to miss anything, peoples opinions, meet ups, parties, etc...
I am on here at least 3 times a day :) |

Suggestion:
Exactly the same as years past.
I know this included some clutter here and there, especially with people "whoring out" their parties. But I, for one, did not mind it. I enjoyed the fact that TA had, by far, the best WMC subforum around. There were tons of threads about anything and everything concerning that week; i.e. questions, parties, meetups, general discussion, etc. The organization of the event thread was perfect, with the first page being updated constantly with newly announced parties. It looks as though that is going to be nearly the same this year, so I don't see the need for an extra "event listing" subforum. I think it is going to be confusing, and not enough people are going to follow the rules, making your job more difficult editing and deleting stuff. I don't know all the aspects involved with the administration of these boards, but from this side of things everything seemed to run pretty smoothly with the previous format. You guys do a great job, and I'm all for anything that makes that job easier. I'm also high on the adage of "if it ain't broke...", so the slight changes are a bit odd. In any case, keep up the good work and I hope things get worked out to people's liking.

FYI: they are allowed already. Just have to put them in the Florida/WMC Events section - which only 1 person has done so far. |

Folks keep in mind....
The Individual WMC event thread is a go & is not a problem. Just make sure you set up the thread accordingly.
I have no problems with that at all. GO FOR IT!
As Echoform mentioned we may start creating the WMC Event threads in here but keep in mind if Swamper says NO its NO. So give me a week to sort this out & I will have final instructions unless it gets posted in here before hand.
