I wish everyone could forget about him lol
I'm excited for this season! I love the return to no refueling. I think this will add a great dynamic to the races since cars will work better or worse on full or empty fuel. it also rewards efficiency. The races were too predictable in the last few years of refuelling. Teams had simulators running the races at accelerated paces to tell them when the best stop strategy would be. That's not racing.
The 4+2 champions on the grid is great as well.

Just look at what happened the next year when Williams went with the Mechachrome engines (essentially re-badged Renaults from the year prior) & then the rest of his career with BAR etc. Without a car that was far & away the best on the grid, he could barely be called a competitor. I feel better driver in that FW19 wouldn't have even had to worry about Schumacher in that final race at Jerez as they would have locked up the championship long before that.
+1!!
Villeneuve was fast in the fast car, but he couldn't make a slower car fast like what Schu did with a ty Ferrari when he left a winning Benetton team and car

Cant wait for the season to begin, only a month and half left. The first race winner could honestly be anybody, with the no refueling i could forsee a few cars running out and also all the new teams and drivers getting use to one anothers driving style. Should be verryy interesting!
Anyone going to montreal for the race? i know i am.
I think the Mp4-25 and the C29 are hands down the nicest looking cars on the grid, SO FAR. I can't wait to see what Adrian Newey has drawn up at Red Bull. I also like the new Ferarri livery as well! The white and red looks old school :D
lol, the renault looks like an old arrows cosworth or something

Pre-season testing is underway, but no big suprises so far. It is so difficult to tell who has true pace, especially at the beginning of the test season. Australia, er, Abu Dabi will be interesting to see who's done their homework in the off season.

Red Bull launches tomorrow! I can not wait to see what magic Adrian Newey has put together this time, and what Vettel decides to name his girl.
Although I don't think anything will beat 'Kate's dirty sister'

I wonder connected back with the back wing versus the teams without the connection will be a huge factor just like the diffusers like last year. I see that their restricting the diffusers next year muhahaha. I like the C29 it is plain white and simple just like the Brawn GP and has a chance to perform. Ferrari looked like they did pretty good during the testing, but testing is testing and a race is a race it'll be exciting.
Can't wait till Montreal :D

the C29 is so sleek!

I like those channeled nose cones that Newey designed for last year's RB5. It doesn't look quite as aggressively designed as other contenders. It seems much sleeker than the likes of the McLaren which has all these little technical aero bits all over it.
But then again, the Mp4-20 wasn't as agressively designed, and we all know that was the quickest beast of 2005. it just suffered from reliability and kimi's misfortunes. It'll be interesting to see what updates the Rb6 gets this year, how it evolves, and how many races it wins.

We are only 6 and a half days away from racing in Bahrain!
Testing usually gives some indication of who the front runners will be, but we'll quickly find out who was sandbagging this winter.
