Agreed that this line-up is a cheese-a-thon, but Morales closing out the House room could be epic.
The line-up does get worse every year though it seems. However, I'm sure it will be a great time to all who go regardless.
The year I went (2006) was the last year that the House room had a good line-up IMO.
I think it was something like
3-5 Peter Rauhoffer
5-7 Stephan Grondin
7-midi Deep Dish
That was some of the hardest tribal/progressive I've ever heard in my life. The music was absolutely perfect after 3am. |

Calderone is doing the official after party at Club Parking, a gay club downtown, starting at 3pm. |

I went to Parking after Bal when I went a few years ago and it was probably the scariest place I've ever seen in my life lol. I left after 15 minutes. |

Never stepped in there, and that's because of all the stuff I hear. |

Some of my friends went last year to see Satoshi Tomiie, and they said the club is great.
I'm not very excited to go though |

| I can enjoy myself at Parking if it's not too packed. Sound is ok, not wow, but definitely good enough. Even after all the renovations they've done, if it's packed, you will be sweaty. And unfortunately, I have a feeling it will be packed with lots of shirtless SWEATY men with the occasional few girls going with their gay buddies. |

I don't know what the club is like on a normal night. I'm talking about le Bal afterparty specifically. When I went there it was a bunch of spectre-looking sweaty shirtless dudes dancing (re: twitching) in double-time.
Be careful to all who go there not to get a sweaty elbow in the eye as a result of amphetamine induced involuntary muscle spasms. |

I've never been to Parking, I heard its intense for a gay club.. I've walked by during closing time and saw dozens of dudes with their shirts on their shoulders, but I heard they party hard. If you're not a homophobe, and you still wanna dance after 12 hours at BeB, I'm sure Calderone's gonna destroy it and play another marathon set.
He was here 2 weeks ago and played from 1am till almost noon the next day, apparently it was the latest the club's closed in a while cuz people didn't wanna leave. |
