One of my boys has been going on and on about this event, I am between this and ASOT, not sure which way to go :/
Anyone been to bal en blanc before and is there a date set?? |

Its *always* Easter Sunday night, and Bal en Blanc is the BOMB if you like massives (the only peeps who disagree are the mtl'ers who always like to complain, but they are spoiled with massives I think) ;) :)
I would recommend seeing which lineup is better when they both come out in full ;) |

I think no matter how weak ASOT line-up might seem, it's a MUST
this event NEVER happened in Toronto, where BeB is always there every year ;) hmmm! |

Thats kind of what I am thinking too, I am loyal to Armin because he has delievered some of the best nights I've had at guv despite how much some of you guys bash him. So I am at a crossroads, unless he also decides to play at BeB |

ASOT will surely be a great party, as will Bal en Blanc, but one should go based on the lineups they prefer, because Bal en Blanc changes every year, so its not like you can say "oh it will be there next year...." nooooo not necessarily, because different DJ's play every year!
Plus, ASOT = Armin + a few of other trance DJ's (nothing more, nothing less). Does that mean I went to an ASOT at last years Bal en Blanc, because last year Armin played with a few other big name DJ's? Whats the difference? that it was broadcasted? is that it? Was it like Electric Zoo, too? What about the million of Labour of Loves in which Armin and trance DJ's played? If one is trying to convince me to go to a party with Armin + a couple of trance DJ's, I have been there, done that.........several times over! Hence, leaning towards Bal ;)
Being able to say "I was there for that!" means little to me if I am missing out on a better party elsewhere ;)
It also depends on if you want to go to a massive (20,00o people) or a big club (whatever Guv/KH holds).
Besides they are on opposite ends of the weekend. How many years did people go to Decadence on Thursday, rest friday/saturday, and go to Bal on Sunday? Many of you, I have witnessed it!! :) :) :) |

Disagree. The vibe inside the Guv for ASOT 450 will be UNREAL. I think the DJ's involved will be super pumped to be a part of it and seriously throw down their best work. Not to mention the people inside will be fist pumping harder then they have ever fist pumped before. I love Schulz and so far he is the only dj on the list I would mission to see. Last couple of times I saw Corsten was ok at best. You may try to down play the importance or magnitude of ASOT at Guv, but I think its a party no one should miss. If anything do both (not sure date of B en B) or just go to Guv. Armin is bomb and 100% he's going to give us a show we will never forget. |

im not trying to downplay ANYTHING. I said people should go to the lineup they prefer, because ASOT is nothing more than Armin + the other DJ's. If you like that lineup, go there. If you like Bal lineup, go to Bal. Thats all I said.
And, I mentioned that ASOT is less important to me because I have seen armin+ dj's a thousand times over. Nothing new to me.
Also, one must take into consideration that NEITHER lineup is complete, so its unfair to judge either party until one can see the full lineups at BOTH.
Edit: I also like how you like to make a point based on what you THINK and ASSUME will happen, while I am simply making the more rational statement of "go to whichever you like." think about what we are saying here ;) |
