Should have been called the Apple Tablet, maybe the next gen will have a name change.
If you want Mac OSX on this just download "log me in" or wait for someone to hack it and find a way to install OSX |

now that could be seriously sick.
but ya its not very practical at all. cant put in it your pocket to use as an ipod cuz its too goddam big. and pointless to take it with you cuz you can do the same on your iphone/ ipod touch. dont think sales will be insane for this one... |

Anything possible.
I have a feeling a lot of medical personnel will want this and probably some retirees who don't want to lug a 3 pound laptop around or lug a book to read.
I'll be waiting for the 2nd (2011) or 3rd generation (2012). Just in time for me to upgrade to a new iMac or Mac Pro (got to start saving money) and Macbook Pro. Now for them to change up the iPhone OS to make it sort of similar to Android  wont happen *sigh* |

The only market it'll take over is the electronic frame one, you know the frames you pay 300$ to show pics and weather?... cause really I don't see all the hype (plus the screen is only 800*400 for its size)
any word about battery life? |

10 hours and 1 month standby from what I read earlier on the day.

I was thinking of that to, use it as a electronic picture frame / weather. Thing is the best app to show weather is on the Android 2.1 from The Weather Network... it shows you what the temperature will be like for the next 24 hours in a graph form.
Use the flashlight app for this thing and it be one amazing looking and expensive flashlight.
I just wonder why they didn't release the wifi version in Canada.

Pretty nice case.
One of the biggest setbacks is... 10,000 ft altitude. Anything above that and your iPad toast :/ Seeing planes are pressurized I don't think it would do anything right?
It has a french dictionary! WTF I want that on my laptop for the love of god! |

| Plus its only hitting stores in 60 days for wifi and 90 days for wifi + 3g. I wonder if its going to be 3.2 or 4.0 OS. Its nice to see the dock is similar to one that is used on OSX and it seems like you can and change backgrounds :) |

| I still don't see the purpose of it without a proper OS on it. If it had a proper OS and decent cpu, then we could talk about an amazing product! |

If the screen could switch between e-ink and an LCD, and the device was much cheaper, then yes.
For now, I'm gonna go with the crippled netbook / large iPhone angle... |
