Who would you most like to spend time in the studio with, one on one, learning their craft, and why?

Paul van Dyk

The production studio section is full of morons like DJ Robby Rox and Kismet7.

Already getting a fair amount of serious help and advice from some pretty established folks.

Nice to have some pretty good production talent living in LA right now. :)

Explanations please.

Personally, I'd go with Trentemoller for sheer musicality. He writes such interesting music, often with quite a different sound to other stuff of the time, and with such a knack for catchy melodies.

I'd also go with Ido Ophir because his percussive work is second to none, and he's also a brilliant mastering engineer.

rizo
James Holden :D
bas
Arthur Baker and/or Ewan Pearson.
