I think you're too forward thinking. You just made a song, from what I've understood you're new to production and releasing your tracks, but you want AVB and Ferry to play your tracks?

If it's up on beatport and its climbing the charts, you can bet your ass a lot of bigger DJs will be checking it out.

Fair points gents. Thank you for advice : )

lol I was about to say the same thing.

I think what you should be asking yourself is: "why do I actually want the big DJs to play my music?"

To me, it sounds like you're just in it for the money and/or glory. No one could possibly want someone with such ty taste as Armin to play their music, could they?

You should be focussing on making good music that you like, not making music that you hope someone with a bigger name will.

Well I actually like Armins stuff. One of my fav tracks of the last few years is Wall Of Sound. Anyway, talking about money and fame is a completely different topic. But thats a good point about sticking to the stuff that sounds right for you and not caring too much about others.

You will find that many people here hate Armin and are disgusted with the he calls trance music.

I got feedback from him once, he called my stuff for "real underground trance". That was actually pretty cool. :)

Who might criticize somebody for their taste?

A self-righteous "Trance Addict," that's who.

I'm with what someone earlier in the thread mentioned. Get to know some local DJ's in your area. They are GREAT friends to have. :)

Hmmmm, just listened to some of your tunes.

I have to say I'm pretty impressed - although 'trance' these days is not my cup of tea, but what you've produced deserves merit.

Well done.

Sorry to hear you live in Dustable though!!! It's the armpit of Bedfordshire!
