| I actually know exactly why I wasn't aborted - Oklahoma had incredibly strict abortion laws in 1986, as you might imagine. If they hadn't, I wouldn't be here to regret anything. But as such, I can spend my entire lifetime making the Evangelicals wish they'd made an exception. |

| I moved away when I was 5. My earliest memory was rolling around in the dusty doorframe that faced a field where I once saw a man swept up into a tornado. I used to spend long periods of time in that little corner, watching the scorpions sting one another to death in the frustration that must come from being an infinitesimal bug caught in a transparent, sliding Hell. |
