but Emergen-C + Gatorade is the way to go. I can't recommend this enough! My g/f and I go through at least a box every year. |
This man speaks the truth, been bringing a box of this to every WMC ive been to and its crucial. Also, B-Complex Vitamins if you're in need of an energy boost. And 5-HTP if you plan on really partying can be a lifesaver as well. |

whats the hours for most of the liquor stores in SoBe?
the one I planned to go to is Tuto & Sons but they dont have a website and I tried finding their hours online. I would think they open around 9 or 10am hopefully.
thanks. |

In Sobe, Taco Rico is better than Lime (a little greasier though). Both are on Alton Rd. You can't beat it for Tex-Mex in that price range.
Sushi Siam or Yummy Chinese & Sushi Bar are both great places to have sushi in Sobe without spending ridiculous money. If you want that, go to Sushi Samba.
If you are going to Little Havana, La Carreta is down the street from Versailles and I think has hands-down better food (no bakery though) for the same price. I've eaten at both many times.
Cve-Che was pretty decent when I ate there for the first time recently...
AVOID JERRYS FAMOUS DINER LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is all. |

| Oh, if you are willing to drive to Kendall (WTF?) to save money on alcohol, just go to Total Wine in North Miami on Biscayne Blvd and save a few precious of hours of dealing with tolls and traffic during your WMC stay. |

I never used a toll on the way to Kendall. Also, the TAs that have been in our car can attest to the insanity of how fast we drive so it isn't a big trip. But your place is a lot closer, we'll stop by. He will be happy because it is close to Bissaleh lol. |

We're renting an apartment with a kitchen, it's a good way to save $$$. Unfortunately can't afford to eat out with most of our funds going on flights, rent, event tickets (and of course the extra stuff that goes along with WMC ;)
We're on Collins Ave, up near 9th. Any suggestions for cheap alcohol and supermarkets around there would be appreciated :) |

Just FYI...
Sobe stops selling alcohol at any locations except bars & night clubs at midnight. So word to the wise stock up when u arrive to your hotel with plenty of alcohol.
Also buy those big 16 oz red dixie cups & have extra plastic bottles of water or soda or even gatorade to fill up with liqour. When you leave your hotel you leave with a full dixie cup of liquor & a plastic bottle full to replenish your drink while you are on your way to a club (in a taxi) or walking to a pool part on sobe.
Or buy a super size drink from subway, BK or any food place that has those big plastic cups. Keep a few on hand so you have a bigger cup to travel with. When your done throw it away & buy another one if yo need to if not use another one you may have back at your hotel for another day when heading out to a party.

dunno if its changed in the last few years but it used to be 11pm not midnight. i always buy my alcohol during the day like a real alcoholic should so i really dont know.
now that you mentioned burger king, the new one opening on washington and 12th right across the street from the police station and that famous diner, is going to sell beer. :toothless |
